Bramley SAPS expresses gratitude to security companies for crime-fighting support

In a strong show of unity, Bramley SAPS thanked security companies for their dedicated support throughout the year at the final meeting between them for 2025.

The final meeting of the year between Bramley SAPS and local security companies on November 27, was a clear reminder of how much can be achieved when a community works together.

What is usually a routine gathering became a moment to pause and acknowledge the people who help keep the area safe every day. Station Commander Colonel Thapelo Molepo opened the meeting by welcoming the many partners who have supported the station throughout the year.

He introduced community members and officials who regularly collaborate with the police, and highlighted the shared commitment that has shaped the relationship between the SAPS and private security teams.

Molepo expressed sincere appreciation for the ongoing assistance provided by security officers, noting that their dedication and quick sharing of information have played a meaningful role in reducing crime. He emphasised how this co-operation has strengthened investigations and helped resolve cases more efficiently.

His message was one of mutual respect, describing the partnership as a vital part of the station’s ability to serve the community well.

The session also looked to the future. Molepo spoke about the intention to continue engaging closely with partners in 2026, with discussions touching on new initiatives and the importance of maintaining open communication. As the meeting wrapped up, an atmosphere of determination filled the room.

Participants acknowledged both the progress made and the challenges ahead, highlighting that safety in Bramley is a collective responsibility.
