Christmas came early for Parktown North’s Park Care 24/7 Centre residents

Park Care 24/7 Centre is an NPO that provides 24-hour nursing care to frail long-term and short-term residents.

Festive celebrations came early for Park Care 24/7 Centre residents in Parktown North on December 12.

The residents were treated to Christmas songs from a singer and dancers throughout the evening.

Residents also enjoyed treats and food prepared by the centre as part of the festivities.

Social work manager at the centre, Lorraine le Roux, explained that the centre observed different holidays and celebrated with residents.

“Our residents are very limited in what they can do, so we like hosting concerts, and dancing events, and then preparing food for them.”
