Parkview community policing enters 2026 on a foundation of trust and cooperation
Parkview’s CPF reflects on 2025 with renewed energy, strong partnerships and a shared commitment to keeping the community safe.
As the final days of 2025 approach in Parkview, a quiet yet strong sense of pride fills the community. This pride stems not from grand gestures but from a consistent presence: neighbours who lend support, volunteers who patrol during the late hours, and partnerships that remain steadfast in the face of challenges.
At the heart of this reflection is the Parkview Community Policing Forum (CPF), which closes the year on a note of gratitude and cautious optimism.
Chairperson Bianca Albertini paid tribute to the collective effort that has carried the forum through the year, acknowledging the dedication of Parkview SAPS members, CPF Exco members, patrollers and community stakeholders who have stood shoulder to shoulder in the pursuit of safer streets.

“Our strength continues to come from a community that actively participates,” Albertini remarked, highlighting a year defined by collaboration, renewed energy, and a shared sense of responsibility.
This commitment to engagement, whether by attending meetings, volunteering time, or working alongside law enforcement, has been the foundation of the forum’s efforts.

The close of the year offers more than an ending; it offers a pause.
For many involved in the CPF, this season is a moment to reconnect and take stock of how far the precinct has come. The past year has seen stronger partnerships take root and a sharper focus on building a resilient community-policing ecosystem that serves everyone who lives, works and passes through Parkview.

Looking ahead to 2026, the forum is not resting on its achievements. There is a clear intention to build on the momentum of the past year, to deepen relationships and to strengthen every platform that contributes to community safety. The work, Albertini suggests, is ongoing, but it is work grounded in trust and shared purpose.

As residents prepare to step into a new year, the message from the Parkview CPF is both simple and heartfelt: thank you. Thank you for the support, the participation and the continued engagement that make community safety possible.
With that foundation in place, the forum looks to 2026 with hope, determined to continue building a safer and more connected Parkview for all.
