Easter flavours come alive at hands-on cook-off in Parkwood

Guests roll up their sleeves for a joyful day of cooking, connection, and seasonal celebration

In celebration of Easter, The Cooking Kitchen in Parkwood transformed into a lively space filled with laughter, learning, and the comforting aromas of home cooking during an exclusive Spar Easter cook-off.

Guests were invited to take part in preparing a three course Easter menu, moving from delicate starters to hearty mains and indulgent desserts.

There was a sense of camaraderie as strangers quickly became teammates, sharing ingredients, stories, and the occasional kitchen mishap. By the time the final dishes were plated, the room felt less like a class and more like a gathering of friends

The highlight came when everyone sat down to enjoy the meals they had prepared together. Conversations flowed easily, and the pride in each dish was evident, making the experience as much about connection as it was about food.
