The CEO of Central Gauteng Lions, Jono Leaf-Wright, welcomed the launch of the league and highlighted the important role community cricket plays in developing future stars. “I am proud to support initiatives like the Mzansi 20 League because community cricket remains a vital part of the player pipeline. Private leagues that invest in growing the game create opportunities for players to develop and showcase their talent.”

Working alongside like-minded individuals who want to grow cricket is important, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.”

With its strong focus on unity, opportunity, and community, the Mzansi 20 League has already made a bold statement in community cricket.
