Residents share their excitement ahead of spring

MELROSE ARCH – Rosebank residents were asked why they are excited for spring.

Question: Are you excited for Spring? Why or why not?

NIRESH BAPOO: I’m excited not to be paying for wood for the fireplace. My electricity bills will go down, I will see more greenery in the garden and be able to get into the pool.
MODIEGI MANYANE: Spring is a happy season for me. It means I can show more skin and go out more. It is the season of love.
TSHEGO MBUYAMBA: I’m excited because I’m a clothing reseller and in winter, it’s difficult to find clothing, while in summer there are lots of choices and bright floral colours.
BONGANI MNGUNI: I’m excited to bath in cold water. My heater will be off and I will be able to visit the beach and see the sun shining when I wake up in the morning.
FARZANA HIRALALL: I love spring! I am excited because I won’t have to wear jackets and boots and tons of clothing anymore. In spring I can start wearing nice colours again.
CAROLINE HORN: I’m excited to go for a run in the morning. I feel like my personality changes in spring. At the end of winter I am so depressed, but in spring I am happy.
