Parktown Boys’ hockey first team secures a 7–1 victory over Northcliff
Parktown Boys’ High School's first hockey team delivered an outstanding performance against Northcliff High School, making a clean sweep for the school's A sides.
Parktown Boys’ High School’s first hockey team returned from the school holidays with renewed energy as they took on Northcliff High School in a spirited hockey match and secured an impressive 7–1 victory on July 25.
The win completed a successful day for the school’s A hockey sides, which recorded four wins from four matches, scoring a combined 14 goals to the opposing teams’ one.

Parktown’s first team goals were scored by Thapelo Maseko, Ndyebo Pongwana, Siya Dube, Jayden Hammel, Tye Steyn, and a brace from Neo Lemmer.
The amazing victory was made even more significant with three South African Schools hockey players on the field for Parktown, truly showcasing the strength and intense depth within the team.
The win marks a great start to the second half of the season as both teams look to build and strengthen their momentum as they prepare for games coming in the weeks ahead.
