Ten things you didn’t know about Reason
ROSEBANK - Having broken into the industry at a very young age, you'd be fooled to think Reason has reached his peak.
The 27-year-old has, over the years, earned his stripes in the music industry and is about to release his third studio album.
After releasing his first album The Reasoning, Reason has since gone on to work with some of South Africa’s best rappers, singers and producers.
City Buzz caught up with the rapper on his return from his first official European Tour.
1. If I gave you an elephant, where would you hide it?
I wouldn’t hide it.
2. If you were to have lunch with another SA celebrity, dead or alive, who would it be?
Thembi Seete.
3. Your favourite spot for dinner?
Papas on the square [in Sandton].
4. If you were a superhero, what super power would you want to have?
Making people smile.
5. What song would you choose to be the theme song of this part of your life?
2 Cups Shakur [by Reason].
6. Why do you think yawning is so contagious?
Because sleeping is contagious.
7. Do you define yourself mainly on your intentions, your actions, or something else?
I try not to define myself. It’s safer not to because we’re always changing as people, and defining yourself puts you in a place where you always have to explain yourself.
8. Boxers or briefs?
Boxers.
9. What long-lost childhood possession of yours would you like to see again?
My TV game.
10. What do you most regret and wish you could re-do?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
