Wonderboom to rock Joburg

FOURWAYS - Wonderboom and Jason Hartman will rock out in Fourways on 27 November.

Music lovers will be treated to an unforgettable evening when two of South Africa’s live rock acts, Wonderboom and Jason Hartman, appear on the same stage at Smuggler’s Pub in Fourways.

Wonderboom has much to be proud of. Having celebrated their 18th year in the music industry earlier this year, they are one of South Africa’s longest existing rock bands, and are still going strong.

According to the organisers, the evening was organised in response to the incredible demand Wonderboom has had over the last while to appear in Fourways.

In September, Wonderboom and Jason Hartman were part of the Peace Starts 2014 Concert and clicked instantly, so when the opportunity arose for them to share the same bill, both jumped at the chance.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jason on a couple of shows lately and have been blown away by his rocking talent and infectious rapport with people. When it comes to rock ‘n roll, Jason is the real deal,” said Wonderboom’s Cito.

“David Beretta Owens is a legend with smooth vocals and killer songs. I can’t wait to rock out Smuggler’s Pub with my Wonderbros, Jason and David. That evening will also be our bassist, Wade’s, birthday so that’s an extra reason for us to celebrate.”

The band promised audiences would be treated to all their unforgettable hits.

Hartman has performed continuously to audiences all over South Africa. His repertoire will include hits from the rock, folk and Americana world in an acoustic format.

The event will begin at 7pm.
