Joburg parties with aliens at the Jameson Cult Film Club experience
JOBURG - The Jameson Cult Film Club event was quite something to experience.
Masses turned up for the event at Mary Fitzgerald Square for what was supposed to be a screening of the movie Alien, but ended up being a full-blown bash with aliens and creepy sci-fi creatures.
The club is a relatively unknown and underground platform that allows movie fans to connect and discuss horror and sci-fi blockbuster hits, but after the alien party they hosted, they may just see an influx of members.
The aim of the event was to get all the sci-fi and horror film fans together to start a discussion, but with the line-up of South Africa’s top DJ’s on the decks it was difficult not to get moving and shaking on the dance floor.
The event was not affected by the rolling blackouts experienced by most of Joburg and the guests were more than happy to escape the darkness of their homes.
