National Children’s Theatre presents HIV awareness play

PARKTOWN - The National Children's Theatre is presenting It's Your Life, a play on HIV/Aids awareness to school pupils in Gauteng.

As part of an awareness campaign, the theatre will be visiting primary and high schools to present performances.

The theatre will visit schools in Soweto, Alexandra, Diepsloot, Sebokeng and surrounding areas.

The main objective of the campaign is to increase the level of sexual knowledge and awareness among the youth so that they can make informed choices about their own attitudes and behaviours.

It’s Your Life addresses HIV awareness in a dignified and professional manner.

This production, while sensitive in its presentation, is performed in a manner that allows pupils the opportunity to ask questions and discuss relevant issues.

The production has been made possible by a grant from the American embassy.
