Ace Hood comes to Maboneng

MABONENG – International rapper Ace Hood will be coming to trendy Maboneng and will perform with a jam-packed line-up of South Africa's most popular musicians.

The precinct, which has undergone remarkable urban rejuvenation, will be promoted once more in an exciting new festival that will take place in Maboneng Precinct, called Project Maboneng.

Promoter of the festival and South African musician, George Avakian made the announcement of Ace Hood’s inclusion in the line-up.

“We are excited to finally announce who is coming to party with us at the opening of the new wing of the Maboneng district later this month. Ace Hood is young and a super hardworking artist. Also he is relevant in the market we are targeting.”

Ace Hood, who hails from Florida, was launched into the spotlight with the instant success of his smash hit singles Bugatti and Hustle Hard.

The local acts included in the exciting street festival, both musicians and DJs, will be Cassper Nyovest, Ifani, Twins on Decks, Kid X and new kid on the block, Okmalumkoolkat, among other big names.

The event is a street festival that aims to encourage the interaction between different crowds and lovers of music and hopefully result in further promotion, growth and development of the up-and-coming Maboneng Precinct.

Gates will open for the 12-hour long street festival at 10am on 28 March, with a park and ride facility and the opportunity for limitless fun.

Tickets are available at Ticketpro.
