SA’s favourite funny man takes over the Daily Show
JOBURG - Trevor Noah, who has been a contributor on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, is set to be Stewart’s replacement.
The Daily Show, aired on Comedy Central, has become a comedy culture craze and with Stewart announcing his retirement after 16 years less than two months ago, it was time for the show to find a new host.
“No-one can replace Jon Stewart, but together with the amazing team at The Daily Show, we will continue to make this the best damn news show,” Noah tweeted.
The two seem to have a good relationship, despite Noah only becoming a contributor on the show less than four months ago.
The Daily Show may just be the perfect platform for Noah to showcase his comedic skills to the rest of the world, to the delight of all South Africans.
