Giggles and gourmet at Killarney Country Club
KILLARNEY – For those who love to laugh, Killarney Country Club has something special lined up for you.
Some of South Africa’s most-loved comedians will make their way to Killarney Country Club once a month for their Giggles and Gourmet comedy evenings – and the club is inviting local residents to join in the fun.
The first club comedy evening was held at the end of February and was hosted by the hilarious Tony King, who also brought along comedic veteran, Mel Miller, and newcomer Nathaneal.
“Teaming up with legendary comedian, Joe Parker, and his Comedy and Jive concept, Killarney Country Club will bring some of South Africa’s most-loved funny men for a fun-filled evening, which includes a delicious dinner,” said the club’s spokesperson, Theresa Lane.
“The comedy evenings will take place on the last Wednesday of every month, showcasing three of South Africa’s best-loved comedians and will certainly be something to diarise,” Lane continued.
Doors will open at 6.30pm and the show will start at 7.30pm.
Tickets are R195 per head including dinner and can either be purchased from Killarney Country Club’s reception or by calling 011 442 7411.
Those wanting to attend should note that the comedy evenings are for mature audiences only.
