JOBURG – You've heard him on the radio, but there's more to know about this rising DJ.
One of YFM’s favourite DJs has a lot to tell his fans about himself.
Pretoria-born and Midrand-bred DJ, Lebogang Thubakgale is popularly known as Lebza the Villain. He is one of the most exciting house music producers currently on air, but his journey to this big-time radio station did not happen overnight.
Thubakgale started his career on the streets and moved onto clubs, sharing the decks with other big names in the entertainment industry.

The 24-year-old is a Boston Media House marketing graduate who is currently following in the footsteps of popular international music producer, DJ Fresh.
He went on to study music business and sound engineering at the Soul Candi Academy, a widely-recognised music qualification.
While juggling his studies at Soul Candi, Lebza joined the Y Academy which is hosted by Gauteng-based station, YFM.
Thubakgale started as an intern and later made his move to become the resident mix DJ, currently holding the Monday 6pm slot, one of the prime-time slots available to DJs.

Lebza The Villain is currently working on his debut album on which he hopes to feature some of his well-known industry friends such as Cuebar and DJ Shimza.
Aspiring to be one of the most recognised house DJs in the country and beyond, Lebza is dedicated to his work, honing his craft at every opportunity he gets.
Luckily for him, with his current spot on YFM, he receives a ton of airplay and recognition, fast closing in on his goal to become a household name in South Africa.
