Run director Kellyn Botha said, although the parkrun was fairly new, it was well received and the turnout was good.

“The idea of the parkrun came about after I spoke to a mutual friend who also wanted to start a parkrun, because it is one way for people to stay fit while enjoying their mornings.”

I ran 5km, which was refreshing and fun.”
The Killarney Country Club parkrun takes place every Saturday from 08:00–09:00.
