The Voice SA winner goes on tour
JOBURG – The winner of The Voice SA 2016 tours in February.
Richard Stirton has become a household name in the music business since winning the first season of The Voice SA, and now he is planning his first tour.
The Middle Ground album launch tour will commence on 14 February and it is set to be super exciting for fans and music lovers.
The tour follows closely on the heels of Stirton’s third single release from the album, Call It Luck.
This comes soon after the release of his rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence and his debut single What Tears Me The Most.
“The Voice has given me an opportunity to enter the industry and it’s now up to me to put in the hard work to build a career of longevity. You can’t sit back and expect things to happen, because they won’t.”
Excited about the tour, he added, “We’re doing a tour of Joburg from 14 to 18 February and then we have another tour in April along the Garden Route.”
According to Stirton, fans can see the shows at the following:
- On 14 February, Die Blou Hond, Pretoria
- On 15 February, Barnyard Cresta
- On 17 February, Sundowners, Alberton.
“We’re very excited for the tour and getting the music out there. It’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m really looking forward to travelling around Joburg and the outskirts and just playing to lots of people. It’s all about the connection with the audience for me, so I am looking forward to doing so much on these upcoming tours.”
