Tshegofatso speaks about her music career under Ambitiouz Entertainment
Spura is working on her music and has more surprises in the pipeline for fans.
Finding your voice is like discovering a new thing inside of you says Tshegofatso Mochela, ‘Spura,’ who recognised her voice when she was six by singing “Oh Happy Day.”
The 19-year-old from the Free State town of Parys is a bubbly young singer and dancer who has always envisioned herself in the entertainment industry.

She is currently signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment, based in Rosebank. Spura grew up with singers in her family and navigated her way through the craft by singing around them.
“My mother sings soprano, and my grandmother sings tenor. It was no surprise that I also had singing in my blood as I sing alto in the worship team at church.”
She explains that she left Sunday school at 11 years old, and at 13, she was brave enough to sing solo acts in the praise and worship group in the church.
Her fiery personality has always driven her to take her singing career to the next level.
Spura tells the Gazette that for her 18th birthday, she could not have asked for a better gift when her life changed with a call from Ambitious Entertainment.
Ten days before her birthday, she got signed to the record label.
“Welcoming my gift with both arms, I was in the studio with the recording team a week after signing. I am recording, what I call, a mega introduction into the industry.”
Amahloni is Spuras first single and she could not ask for a better introduction. She is big on catering to young adults and showing off her vocal and dancing abilities.
“I look up to Makhadzi for her tenacity, being true to herself and her craft. Vocally, I would like to reach Whitney Houstons heights as she has been one of my idols throughout my life.”
