L’Etoil Wine Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

Ingredients (for the vanilla simple syrup_

  • 1⁄2 cup water
  • 1⁄2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method – vanilla simple syrup

  1. Add water and sugar to a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Strain into a jar or bottle and seal tightly with a lid.

Method – cocktail

  1. Pour brandy and vanilla simple syrup into a chilled champagne flute.
  2. Fill to the top with the sparkling wine.
  3. Squeeze lemon juice into glass and drop in rind.
