Community Policing Forums (CPFs) bring the police and the community together to solve problems by bridging the gap between the public and the police.
The Community Policing Forum (CPF) is a legal community structure established in terms of the South African Police Service (SAPS) Act that is mandated to facilitate community-police relations within a specific police station precinct (police station boundary) and serves as the community’s mouthpiece with the police and vice versa on policing.
