Rocking Future Expo inspires learners
A free career expo helps learners discover exciting opportunities after school.
The Rocking Future Expo recently visited Wendywood High School, bringing hope and guidance to learners who are thinking about life after matric.
The Rocking Future career expos aim to help South African school leavers choose the best career path, grow their skills, and find jobs in a country where youth unemployment is very high.
For 26 years, the expos have supported high school learners by showing them the many opportunities waiting for them after school.

Choosing a career can be scary, especially for learners who are not sure what to study or how to find work.
The 3RC team, together with leading colleges and training organisations, helps learners understand their options and choose careers that match their personalities, skills, and dreams. Best of all, the expos are completely free for schools and learners.

Kay Cheytanov, founder of 3RC, said the journey had been amazing.
She added that every year, learners and teachers showed great interest and gave positive feedback about the expo.
Learner Dini Hina shared that the career expo was very helpful.

He said it gave them many options because most learners did not know what to do after finishing school.
Dini added that it felt good to know there were many different paths to choose from.
“The expo opened my eyes to new opportunities and has inspired me to think seriously about my future.”
