Parktown Boys’ High School claim victory over Jeppe High B team at U14 Basketball Festival

Thrilling clash sees Parktown take early lead and hold off Jeppe in a 11-6 win.

Parktown Boys’ High School secured a hard-fought victory over Jeppe High School for Boys’ B team during the Jeppe U14 Basketball Festival.

Parktown opened the scoring with an early free throw, followed swiftly by a double-pointer that put them 5-0 ahead just six minutes into the first half. Undeterred, Jeppe fought back, scoring two points to bring the score to 5-2.

Parktown continued to apply pressure, adding another two points, but Jeppe responded with determination, securing two points just before half-time to make it 7-4.

In the second half, Parktown earned two more points with five minutes remaining, which Jeppe matched with a two-pointer in the final two minutes of the game, bringing the score to 11-6. Parktown sealed the match with successful free throws in the closing seconds.
