Sandton seminar set to empower entrepreneurs

Zoe Legacy Foundation to host entrepreneurship seminar for start-ups and growing businesses in Sandton.

Aspiring entrepreneurs, side hustlers, small business owners and professionals looking to rebuild or grow their businesses will gather in Sandton on May 30, for the Zoe Legacy Foundation Entrepreneurship Seminar, a morning focused on practical business growth, resilience and meaningful networking.

Taking place from 08:00 to 12:00, the seminar promises more than just motivational talks. Organisers said attendees can expect actionable insights, real-life entrepreneurial lessons and direct engagement with experienced business leaders who understand the realities of building businesses in South Africa’s challenging economic climate.

Hosted by the Zoe Legacy Foundation, the seminar is designed specifically for start-ups and growing businesses, offering attendees an opportunity to learn from entrepreneurs and industry professionals who have navigated setbacks, funding challenges and business expansion first-hand.

The programme features a strong lineup of speakers, including Ruth Mthabine, Sean Shipalana, Dipuo Phakathi and Justin Nadesan.

Topics set to be explored during the seminar include:

The event aims to equip attendees with practical tools while also creating a space for collaboration and connection among entrepreneurs from different industries.

Programme director and organiser Melini Moses said the seminar was created to empower entrepreneurs with knowledge and encouragement.

“This seminar is about creating a space where entrepreneurs can learn, connect and leave with a real plan for growth. We understand the challenges that business owners face, especially in today’s economy, and we wanted to bring together speakers who can share honest experiences, practical strategies and hope,” said Moses.

She added that networking would play a key role in the morning programme.
