The Crawford International Sandton community welcomed the arrival of spring with its annual fun run and walk on August 29.
Learners, families and members of the school community gathered for a lively morning of exercise, fun and togetherness as they celebrated the new season.
Crawford Sandton College principal Tracey Purkiss said the event was about more than simply running or walking, as the school used the morning to bring its community together.

“It’s a beautiful morning here, Saturday morning. We’ve had our community here gathered together in Crawford spirit to spend family time together, to get some exercise and to understand what it means about being a community,” she said.

Purkiss said the event was also a way for the community to welcome spring together and enjoy the positive energy that comes with the new season.
She thanked everyone who helped organise and support the event, saying their contribution helped make the day a success.
