Sector 1 includes the suburbs of Edenburg, Gallo Manor, Khyber Rock, Rivonia, Sunninghill, Woodlands and Woodmead.
This position requires strong leadership and a commitment to the safety of the Sandton community. Excellent community liaison skills and management experience will also be highly beneficial.
Nominations must be submitted before 31 January and nominees are required to undergo South African Police Services clearance in order to qualify. The general public is welcome to submit nominations of those who meet the selection criteria.
The elections for qualifying nominees will take place at the forum’s Sector 1 meeting held at Sandton Police Station, located at 2 Summit Road in Morningside. This meeting will start at 6.30pm on 10 February in the first-floor boardroom. The meeting is open to the public and nominations and voting will only be open to eligible persons.
Nomination forms may be obtained from the forum’s administrative assistant, Yogi Govender from 11 January.
