Taxi crashes into light pole and leaves 17 injured
SANDTON – The patients were treated for their injuries and were later transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
A taxi crashed into a light-pole on Marlboro Drive in Sandton this morning (23 October), leaving 17 people injured.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 9.12am to find that the passengers had already climbed out of the taxi and were walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that they had all sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. No serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were later transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
