An Alberton man appeared in Alexandra Regional Court on 2 July after Sandton detectives charged him as part of their investigation into a business robbery case.
Captain Granville Meyer from the Sandton Police Station said that the suspect and his accomplices allegedly robbed a business premises in Eastgate, Sandton on 30 June. “They stole goods to a value of R 700 000,” he said. He added that great investigation work led to the arrest.
The Sandton Police Station would like to appeal to anyone who may have any information on crime to contact the SAPS on the Crime Stop number 08600 10111. Information can also be communicated via the My SAPS app which can be easily downloaded via the Play Store on any iPhone or Android handset.
