Two suspects were arrested in Buccleuch for the possession of a stolen motor vehicle on 2 August.
According to Captain Granville Meyer of the Sandton Police station, they were arrested by vigilant police members who were on patrol.
“The two from Soweto were arrested after police members on patrol randomly tested the vehicle for ownership,” he said. The vehicle was positively linked to a theft case that occurred in July this year in the Brakpan area.
The suspects are currently in detention and will appear in court once charged.
