Hyde Park High RCL reaches district level

HYDE PARK – The learner was recently voted into the council by her peers and will be among six other learners from the represented schools in the district.

Recently elected Hyde Park High School RCL president Nikolaa de Klerk has joined the Johannesburg East District Representative Council of Learners.

The learner was recently voted into the council by her peers and will be among six other learners from the represented schools in the district.

According to Hyde Park High School’s Avril Wright, the six learners will then go on to vote for each other to occupy office-bearing positions such as the district president, deputy president, secretary, deputy secretary, treasurer and public relations office.

“Their role is to voice the challenges of learners, explore and suggest educational changes, and positively represent their schools,” added Wright.
