Regenesys Business School awards bursary to deserving student
SANDOWN – Mashele will be the first in her family to further their studies.
Regenesys Business School, based in Sandown, recently partnered with the well-known student, author and entrepreneur ProVerb to award a bursary to a commendable student.
In a social media campaign, ProVerb asked over 1.5 million followers across his social media platforms to write a motivation for why they should be awarded a bursary to study with Regenesys Business School.
Angel Mashele from Tembisa was the lucky follower chosen out of many entries and awarded a Higher Certificate in Business Management bursary to kick-start her academic journey.
The programme develops fundamental management competencies which are required for a career in management, or for starting an entrepreneurial venture and will be offered over 12 months.
In her submission, Mashele, who matriculated from Sir Pierre van Ryneveld High School with admission to diploma, will be the first in her family to further their studies.
Mashele describes herself as an ambitious young woman who likes to take risks and is eager to learn new things whenever possible.
“I am very excited that Regenesys Business School and one of my idols, ProVerb, picked my submission and awarded me this life-changing opportunity. This means a lot to me because this qualification is really going to open doors for me and I will become the first in my family to attend tertiary school,” said Mashele.
ProVerb said that education and empowering young people with a drive to succeed are his passions.
“I am very happy that Regenesys Business School and myself teamed up to change someone’s life for the better. As a Regenesys Business School student myself, this is going to be a fulfilling learning adventure for Angel and her potential will be awakened. She will get all the assistance she will need from the competent student support and academic staff who will hold her hand until she completes her qualification.”
