Redhill’s Cabaret a smash hit
The production will run from April 2 to April 10, promising to entertain audiences to the fullest.
Redhill School’s production of the musical Cabaret was a smash hit on opening night, leaving audiences wanting more.
The production, which opened at the school’s Len Miller Hall on April 2, received a standing ovation from a sold-out audience.
According to executive head Joseph Gerassi, who also directed the play, it was both a privilege and an honour to not only put on the show but to work with such talented learners.
The show tells the story of Sally, a cabaret dancer, who falls in love with two men who are regulars at the Kit Kat Club in Berlin, Germany. Their lives become entwined with each other and the Nazi party that is slowly growing in power.
The musical features songs such as Wilkommen, Don’t Tell Mama, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time, Money and the title number, Cabaret.
The production of Cabaret is on at Redhill School until April 10. Tickets are available from Quicket.
