Redhill’s spectacular weekend victory

As the players gathered in a jubilant huddle, exchanging high-fives and hearty pats on the back, it was clear that this victory was more than just a triumph on the rugby field for the Redhill School team.

This weekend witnessed an electrifying display of athleticism and team spirit as Redhill 7s rugby teams played in the Shadowball 7’s series.
The games became the stage for thrilling encounters that showcased the true essence of rugby, courage, camaraderie, and sheer determination.

Shelli Nurcombe-Thorne, the marketing and communications manager at the school, said, “The rugby boys played in the second round of the Shadowball 7’s series. It was a good day for Redhill, the U15s won two of their three games for the second week in a row and it is a great start to their season.”

The Redhill School team is in possession.

She added Redhill’s first team won both their games, and the work the players and coaches are doing is bearing fruit.

“The series takes a break now and will resume on April 6 at Saheti. The players will enjoy the break but also continue to work on their strengths and weaknesses to make sure we keep up the great start to the season.”

Faron Gelfand plays his heart out on the field.
