During this period, the inlet and outlet of the affected reservoirs will be fully closed to facilitate system maintenance and ensure the stability of water supply. It is also important to note that water may continue to flow until the reservoirs are completely drained, which can take an additional one to three hours after closure. Once the reservoirs are reopened, it will take some time for the system to recharge fully and restore normal water pressure.
JW thanks residents for their patience and co-operation during this scheduled maintenance. The utility emphasizes that these measures are crucial to maintaining a reliable water supply and supporting ongoing infrastructure repairs in the area. Residents are encouraged to use water sparingly during this period to minimize inconvenience.
