Michael Mount Waldorf School triumphs at Mafikeng Volleyball tournament
From back-to-back championships to individual titles, Michael Mount’s volleyball squads brought home a weekend full of victories.
Michael Mount Waldorf School experienced a weekend of exceptional sportsmanship and achievement from August 1 to 3 as their volleyball teams participated in the annual Mafikeng Volleyball Tournament, held at the International School of South Africa in Mafikeng.

The school is proud to announce outstanding results across all three competing teams:
- U19A girls team was crowned tournament champions for the second year running – retaining their title as the reigning champions of this tournament.
- The U19B girls team secured an impressive 3rd place out of 19 schools.
- The U19 boys team made it to the quarter finals, showing great skill and determination throughout the tournament.
- Special mention must also be made of: Leila Coetzee, who was named Best Setter and MVP, Kailum Naidoo, who was named Best Server, and Riley Pearman, who was Best Receiver.
