The event created a vibrant and encouraging atmosphere on campus, as students confidently took to the stage to display their interpretation of industry-aligned attire in a runway-style presentation.
The first-place winner, Khethiwe Cindi, a first-year IIE Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences in Application student, shared how the event has impacted her. “Dress for Success was a truly empowering event, which has given me so much confidence. As a first-year student, I’ve learnt through career services’ activations how important it is to start early in setting myself up for success.”
The institute said: “This event is just one of many under the campus’ broader career services portfolio. A hands-on approach to ensuring students are, not only academically equipped, but also prepared for real-world professional environments.”
