Fihla said SAPS, Public Order Policing units, and JMPD officers will also be monitoring the precincts for any unplanned or spontaneous protest actions that may arise during the summit period.
Sandton CPF public relations officer Roshan Byjnal noted that while there has been talk of demonstrations, they are expected to remain confined to designated parks and approved protest zones.
Authorities are urging residents and commuters to stay informed and anticipate intermittent disruptions as delegations begin to arrive for the global event.
