Field Market celebrates a decade of community at Field & Study Park

Marking 10 years of growth, creativity, and connection, the Field Market closes 2025 with gratitude and looks ahead to an exciting new chapter in 2026.

As 2025 draws to a close, the Field Market at Field & Study Park is reflecting on a landmark year that celebrated a decade of community, creativity, and connection in the heart of Sandton.

What began as a small, local initiative has grown into a much-loved community market, attracting loyal regulars, first-time visitors, and a diverse group of passionate traders. Today, the market hosts more than 140 traders, offering everything from artisanal food and handmade goods to unique lifestyle products, all within a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

Founder and organiser Handri Cooley said reaching the 10-year milestone has been both humbling and rewarding. “This year reminded us why we started the Field Market in the first place. It has always been about people, about creating a space where community, creativity, and small businesses can thrive together. The support we’ve received over the past decade has been incredible.”

Throughout 2025, each market day served as a celebration of local talent and shared experiences, with visitors returning, not just for the food and shopping, but for the sense of belonging the market has cultivated.

According to Cooley, that atmosphere is what truly sets the Field Market apart. “Our visitors and traders are the heartbeat of the market. Their energy and enthusiasm are what make it feel like home.”

As the festive season approaches, the Field Market team has extended warm wishes to the broader Sandton community, encouraging visitors to enjoy a season filled with love, peace, and joy.

Looking ahead, plans are already underway for 2026, with new traders, fresh ideas, and more memorable market days on the horizon. “We are excited for what’s next, and we’re grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey with us.”
