Spark Rivonia High celebrates a year of success and sets sights on first Matric milestone
From academic excellence to community spirit, 2025 has been a defining year for Spark Rivonia High. Principal Kavisha Govender reflects on the school’s achievements and shares her excitement for guiding the inaugural Matric class in 2026.
As Spark Rivonia High brings the 2025 school year to a close, the school’s principal, Kavisha Govender, expressed immense pride and gratitude for what has been a remarkable year for the school community.
“This year has been one of building strong foundations, academically, culturally, and personally,” Govender said.
“Our learners have shown exceptional dedication to their studies, our teachers have gone above and beyond to inspire and support them, and our parents and guardians have continued to be vital partners in nurturing every child’s potential.”

Looking forward to 2026, excitement is high as Spark Rivonia High prepares to celebrate a historic milestone: the first cohort of matric learners embarking on their final year.
“We are proud to guide our inaugural matrics through this important chapter. We will support them in every way as they prepare to leave their mark and set the standard for those who follow.”
Govender outlined the school’s focus for 2026, which includes academic excellence, leadership development, and strengthening the school’s culture of integrity and achievement.
