Gauteng police are investigating the death of a 50-year-old man found in his hotel room in Sandton on Tuesday morning, with the cause of death still unknown.
The Gauteng police have opened an inquest docket after a 50-year-old man was found dead in his hotel room in Sandton on the morning of January 27.

Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said, “An inquest docket has been opened after a 50-year-old man was found deceased in his hotel room in Sandton. The cause of death is unknown at this stage and will be confirmed once postmortem results are available. Police investigations are ongoing.”
