Discovery announced Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Jesse Kriel as its newest brand ambassadors.
The announcement was made on March 12, with the company saying the partnership will support campaigns that encourage South Africans to focus on health, discipline, and long-term planning.
Feinberg-Mngomezulu (24) has quickly become one of the country’s most talked-about rugby talents. The young fly-half recently won the United Rugby Championship Player of the Season Award, and was named for the 2025 World Rugby Dream Team. His performances for the Stormers and the national team have drawn attention both locally and internationally.

He said joining Discovery felt like a natural partnership. “Success comes from the work you do every day. It’s about preparation and making good decisions over time, both on and off the field.”
Kriel, who joins as an ambassador for the wider Discovery Group, is one of the more experienced members of the South Africa national rugby union team. He played a key role in South Africa’s victories at the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Known for his consistency and professionalism, Kriel said, on a zoom call from Japan where he, unfortunately, he was stuck due to flight issues, that he was proud to represent a brand that promotes health and performance.
Discovery chief marketing officer Firoze Bhorat said the players reflect the type of behaviour the company wants to promote. “They represent discipline, resilience, and the idea that small decisions made every day can lead to better outcomes.”
