The young swimmer is also set to represent South Africa in the Region V Games. As announced by the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc), Cameron will join a powerful national squad of 209 athletes as they compete across 11 different sporting events in the games in Lilongwe, Malawi, from December 2 to 12.

The 10th edition of the games is expected to attract more than 3 000 athletes from 10 southern African countries.
