This year’s concert promised and delivered a vibrant and captivating celebration of global cultures, with the theme Around the World in a Day.
The event took the audience on an exciting journey across the seven continents, showcasing a spectacular array of performances by the school’s talented learners.
As part of its tradition, the concert aimed to provide both an entertaining and educational experience and offered a window into the diverse cultures of the world through song, dance, and drama.

Lotus Preschool and Aftercare is known for its commitment to holistic child development and is rooted in the Montessori Method.
Jade Voskuil, the admissions coordinator at the school expressed her excitement about the concert’s success.
“This concert reflected our school’s core values, creativity, cultural diversity, and the growth of each child as an individual. We are proud of how our learners embrace different cultures and learn from one another engagingly and dynamically. This event truly reflected the global nature of education we offer.”
Voskuil added the concert was attended by esteemed guests, including the CEO of Gauteng Enterprise Propeller Saki Zamxaka who was the chief guest, and ward councillor Lori Coogan who was the guest of honour.
“The event was also attended by the families and friends of the learners, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.”
