The How to Her Brunch returned to Sandton on November 1, transforming Copper Deli into a lively hub of inspiration, ambition, and connection.
What began in 2022 as a simple networking idea by entrepreneur Imani Ndaba has grown into a movement redefining how women in business show up for themselves and each other.
At its heart, How to Her is about empowerment through community.

It’s a platform that supports women-led businesses through mentorship, storytelling, and events that spark growth and collaboration.
The biannual brunch has become one of its most anticipated gatherings—a place where ideas meet opportunity, and women walk away not only inspired but equipped.
Today’s theme was marketing mastery, striking at the core of what many women in business struggle with: how to market themselves and their work with confidence.
The conversations were honest and relatable, unpacking how women can use digital platforms, personal branding, and authentic storytelling to amplify their influence.

The tone of the day was practical rather than polished, encouraging women to see marketing as a skill they can master rather than a mystery they can’t crack.
The line-up of speakers reflected the range of women leading in different industries. Dr Miskyah Toth, entrepreneur, author, and CEO, delivered a keynote that encouraged women to lead with purpose and to see leadership as both an internal and external act of empowerment.
Business analyst and digital skills educator Masentle Siwela explored the essentials of marketing in a digital world, while fitness influencer and OneBhody founder Chantel Struwig shared her journey of building a brand that balances authenticity and strategy.
The stage also featured entrepreneur and pageant director Annwen Jordan, creative director Georgina Rae Bennet, actress and writer Shonisani Masutha, content creator Tristan Fisher, and Chef Sue, whose vegan food empire continues to inspire women to think boldly in business.
