Bryanston Primary School celebrates 2025 milestones and sets ambitious goals for 2026
From academic excellence to sporting success, Bryanston Primary School reflects on a year of achievement, and shares exciting plans for the year ahead.
Bryanston Primary School has marked an impressive 2025, with achievements spanning academics, sports, culture, and technology.
School principal Morné Marx reflected on the school’s successes. “We had a very good 2025. We achieved most of our goals, and it’s heartening to see the progress we’ve made across multiple areas of our school.”

One of the highlights of the year was the successful launch of the school’s double R section, which complements the early childhood development (ECD) centre in the inter-centre and foundation phase. Additionally, the school introduced coding and robotics centres, which are rapidly growing in popularity among learners.
The school also celebrated strong sporting achievements. Bryanston Primary produced three provincial players this year, one in netball and two in soccer, along with numerous district representatives and notable team performances.
The school also hosted its Sports and Culture Awards, the school’s first since 2019, where many learners were recognised for their efforts.

On the cultural front, the school was ranked among the top eight schools by the State Fed, demonstrating the positive direction of the school’s culture initiatives.
Reflecting on the year, Marx extended festive greetings to the school community: “I would like to wish all our families a happy festive season. Enjoy this time with your families.”
Looking ahead to 2026, he outlined exciting developments, including the introduction of a triple R section to the ECD centre, and a major drive to improve school infrastructure, particularly information technology (IT) to support a digital future.
The school will also emphasise value-driven education, reinforcing essential values across all learners.
“My message to our community is to stay focused, and your results will come,” Marx concluded. “We look forward to a very fruitful 2026 for all our learners and stakeholders.”
