The event, on March 27, saw young learners searching high and low for hidden Easter eggs, going behind trees and crawling under playground equipment in search of sweet packs. A highlight of the day was the much-loved visit from the Easter Bunny. While many children ran up with excitement to hug their fluffy guest, others were a bit more hesitant, choosing to admire from a distance.

Beyond the fun and festivities, the event carried a deeper purpose. This year, learners contributed 60 boxes of Easter eggs which will be donated to local charities, Forever Friends and One Small Act of Kindness.

School principal Fiona Niemand said: “We have been working together with these two charities for years and we have seen the impact they have had in the communities. The boxes of Easter eggs brought by learners will be donated to them. They will then distribute them to orphanages, old age homes, and other needy organisations.

“Our Easter egg hunt is not just about fun; it’s about giving back. We are doing it for the community with the love of sharing with others.”
