Ramathesele tells pastors to take care of their health

BEDWORTHPARK. – Well-known local and former Bafana-Bafana doctor, Dr Victor Ramathesele, was a guest speaker at Christ Family Church in Bedworthpark, Vereeniging, where he addressed pastors about their health recently.
This initiative, a first of its kind, follows after many pastors succumbed to COVID-19 in recent months. The Evaton born Dr Ramathesele, advised pastors to undergo annual check-ups and to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
He told them not only to concentrate on their spiritual lifestyle but to take care of their well-being. It was an educational session with both men and women pastors asking questions about COVID-19 and other related illnesses.
Dr Ramathesele quoted scriptures to relate some of his advices to the bible. “As pastors you need to take care of your health not only your spirituality. You must undergo annual examinations to know your health status. It is a fact that the victim of COVID-19 are those who are vulnerable especially from age 60 and upwards,” he told them.
