Msimanga to visit disused Saulsville police station

Tomorrow, Wednesday 9 December 2015, Democratic Alliance Tshwane Mayoral Candidate Solly Msimanga will visit the disused Saulsville Police Station, which continues to stand empty a decade after its construction was completed.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 9 December 2015, Democratic Alliance Tshwane Mayoral Candidate Solly Msimanga will visit the disused Saulsville Police Station, which continues to stand empty a decade after its construction was completed.

The station has become a crime hotspot and has been illegally occupied by vagrants who have vandalised and sold off parts of the building.

There is a high crime rate in the area, which is a direct result of this police station not being used by the South African Police Service (SAPS).

Msimanga will conduct an oversight visit to the disused station and will announce the DA’s plans to ensure those responsible for this failure are held to account.

He will be joined by DA Councillor in the City of Tshwane, Cllr Lot Mathibedi.

The event will be as follows:

Date: Wednesday, 9 December 2015

Time: 10:00

Venue: Saulsville Police Station

Address: Masopha Street, Saulsville

Co-ordinates:  25°45’56.7″S

28°03’29.8″E
