A man, believed to be in his 20s, was left seriously injured this morning after he fell 6 metres off a ladder at a business on Emfuleni Drive in Vanderbijlpark.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 09h03 and were ushered to where the man was laying on the grass.
On assessment, paramedics found that the man was in a critical condition.
ER24 paramedics immediately began their treatment and provided the patient with numerous advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, the patient was airlifted by a private medical helicopter to a private hospital in Johannesburg.
It is understood that the man had been trimming a tree-top when he lost his footing on the ladder, causing him to fall.
