#Feesmustfall protest in Vereeniging

Members from various burial societies around Sedibeng district are blocking the entrances of the Mayor’s parlour on the Cnr. of Beaconsfield and Leslie street, Vereeniging, after the DMM assigned to address the community was dismissed by the participants.

They demand that Mayor Simon Mofokeng, himself, as they were promised, must receive the memorandum in which they explain they are being overcharged to bury their loved ones and now demand free burial.
