Baby dies, man’s leg amputated after pole falls on them

The tragic incident was caused by a powerful gust of wind in Sebokeng recently. Nozewu states that an electricity pole fell on him during strong winds in Sebokeng on October 21. "The pole also fell on the child. Sadly, the child died on the spot. I was visiting a friend in Sebokeng when the incident happened."

SEDIBENG. – An 8-month-old on her mother’s back died on the scene, while Tshepiso father of four Sitemebele Nozewu (36) lost his right leg.

The tragic incident was caused by a powerful gust of wind in Sebokeng recently. Nozewu states that an electricity pole fell on him during strong winds in Sebokeng on October 21. “The pole also fell on the child. Sadly, the child died on the spot. I was visiting a friend in Sebokeng when the incident happened.”
